Argon & Co, the global management consultancy that specialises in operations strategy and transformation, is thrilled to announce the strengthened capability of the Procurement and Supply Chain Planning service offerings in APAC through the arrival of two new Partners, Luke Tomkin and Anthony Cappelleri.

Based in the Melbourne office with a remit across the region, Luke brings a wealth of operational leadership experience alongside an expansive career in management consulting. Luke is a visionary leader with a demonstrated history of entrepreneurship, building and expanding service lines, driving operational excellence and managing firms (most recognisably GRA and Accenture). With practical business management experience encompassing the growth of both small-medium sized and multinational businesses, Luke has a passion for fostering high performance teams, identifying and cultivating talent, and delivering innovative solutions to meet evolving business conditions.

Anthony, who will also be based in the Melbourne office, brings over 15 years of global advisory and procurement leadership experience. Specialising in M&A (public and private markets), large-scale IT optimisation programs and procurement transformation, Anthony has worked across a diverse portfolio of sectors including financial services, mining, telecommunications, utilities and FMCG. With Argon & Co ANZ’s recent expansion into procurement following the integration of the Caliba Group, Anthony will play a pivotal role in driving sustained growth and continued success across the business.

The strengthening of both Procurement and Supply Chain Planning will be further enhanced through the joining of two new Associate Partners within the region, Daniel Jackson and Philip Welch.

Daniel brings over 10 years consulting and transformation experience, particularly specialising in Enterprise Digital Procurement Transformation within the Mining, Healthcare, Retail and Education industries. Daniel will focus on driving value for Argon’s clients through both the NEOS business and Procurement service lines.

Philip is an accomplished retail executive with extensive experience in the retail industry and consulting. His areas of expertise include business transformation, supply chain, omni channel, and inventory management. Philip has led retail teams in areas such as finance, operations, and system enhancements, and has worked in both Australian retail and internationally.

Paul Eastwood, Managing Partner of Argon & Co APAC, comments, “We are humbled to be joined by Luke, Anthony, Phil and Daniel in the next chapter of our growth. We are adding decades of functional and technical expertise, leadership and incredible track records. Their energy and enjoyment in what they do fits perfectly with our values and why our clients choose us. I’m very much looking forwards to working alongside all four to continue to deliver impressive results for our clients and learning from their combined experience.”
