This summer, our UK office celebrated some significant milestones and hosted various internal and external events. As British Summer Time draws to an end, let’s take a moment to look back and reflect on the highlights from recent events.
UK annual volunteering day, London
In June, Argon & Co UK held its annual volunteering day, supporting local communities and making a positive impact on our environment. Our colleagues spent the day volunteering at four locations across the UK, working in collaboration with charities, FareShare, and HandsOn London.
Our UK teams supported essential tasks including preparing food deliveries in FareShare’s warehouses, cooking meals in kitchens, and loading vans for distribution. Meanwhile, our Hands On volunteers contributed to landscaping efforts, helped maintain local green spaces, and assisted with general park upkeep.
The volunteering day proved to be a terrific success and an invaluable opportunity to make a positive impact to the charities and local communities.
Summer Mixer, Sabine Rooftop
In July, we hosted our annual ‘Summer Mixer’ evening of networking, and knowledge-sharing at Sabine Rooftop Bar in London.
With spectacular views over St Paul’s Cathedral, we welcomed guests from our Connect community, Alumni, and clients past and present. The evening was a great reminder of the importance of bringing likeminded individuals together and an opportunity to embrace the community we’ve built together.
UKI Summer event, Surrey
Next up, our UK and Ireland teams got together for two days of team building and training at our annual Summer Event.
The event held at De Vere Beaumont Estate in Surrey involved a Bridge model training session followed by an evening party with dinner and dancing on day one. On day two our team took part in various teambuilding exercises and challenges through fun and adventurous activities, which included a fun take on ‘The Traitors’.
Summer team day, Dublin
Earlier this year we opened our first office in Dublin, Ireland. This summer, marked we hosted our first team event: It was a fantastic day of connection and collaboration, giving everyone the chance to strengthen relationships and get to know each other better. The highlight was an escape room experience aboard a boat on the River Liffey, which combined teamwork with a unique setting. After solving the challenges, the team rounded off the day with a relaxed meal, sharing stories and enjoying good food together. It was a memorable occasion that reinforced our culture of teamwork and camaraderie.
UK Office opening, London
Capping off the summer was an exciting milestone for Argon & Co UK, the relocation of our UK office. Driven by strong business growth and an expanding headcount, we celebrated our move to a larger office premises in the Kings Cross area.
To mark this achievement, we hosted an internal launch party at our new office, complete with food, drinks and speeches. It was a memorable occasion and a chance to look ahead to an exciting new chapter.
