Argon & Co is delighted to announce the appointment of David Rotor as a Partner in our Australian business, based in Melbourne. David’s appointment marks a significant milestone in our continued investment and expansion into the Heavy Industry and Industrial sectors- two of the firm’s fastest-growing areas in the region.
This appointment follows the successful integration of Caliba Group, one of Australia’s leading procurement consultancies, which joined Argon & Co 18 months ago. Caliba brought with it deep sector expertise across heavy industry, laying the foundation for the firm’s evolving presence in asset-intensive industries.
David brings with him deep expertise at the intersection of operations, maintenance, supply chain, and procurement. He has spent over two decades advising C-suite executives, Boards, and Government stakeholders across sectors, including mining and metals, infrastructure, healthcare, and telecommunications.
His extensive leadership experience includes Partner roles at global consulting firms Deloitte, Bain, and, most recently, Partners in Performance (part of Accenture). David has worked with major clients such as Alcoa, Rio Tinto, BHP, South32, Melbourne Water, Aurizon, and NBN, developing and delivering production uplift and cost down for core operations.
“David’s appointment reflects our commitment to building a leading proposition in Heavy Industry and Industrial,” said Paul Eastwood, Managing Partner APAC. “His proven track record and ability to lead cross-functional programs in highly complex environments will be instrumental in delivering sustained value for our clients.”
“It’s exciting to join the strong Argon team in Australia. I love our practical approach to deliver results that matter to our client and being part of the respectful and inclusive culture they’ve built.” said David Rotor. “With MODE driving operational improvement from the ground up and IRIS delivering the digital visibility to sustain it, we have a powerful combination to help clients lift performance in a lasting way. I’m looking forward to working with our teams and clients where it matters most; on site, every day.”
As Argon & Co continues to evolve its presence across Australia and the broader APAC region, David will play a key role in shaping the firm’s industrial and heavy asset strategy helping clients build resilience, unlock efficiency, and deliver real operational performance.
