- Revenue boost. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is prepared to make a large contribution to the global economy by 2023. We know that automation and efficiency through technology is on the minds of senior personnel in nearly every large organization. Supply Chain Digital reported on technology access, “…reliable and resilient connectivity, particularly in remote regions or at sea, where terrestrial networks are not available but satellite communications are available, will be essential to the success of many IIoT deployments, it added.”
