It was a time-sensitive project the last half of the year. Our experienced supply chain consultants did an incredible assessment of the client&#8217;s situation and helped them get things in order for peak season. We loved sharing our success in North America with our global team.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve been reading up on retail trends for 2018 for Recap fodder. Of course, we all know not all the trends will take place but it does give us a few things to watch that impact our clients and prospects.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/pamdanziger\/2017\/12\/27\/retail-shopping-predictions-2018\/#602468dbfb33\">Forbes is reporting on the impact tech<\/a> will have on retail this year&#8230; that there will be transformation relating to technology. While that is a safe bet anytime in the next several years, it&#8217;s fair to remember, as this article states, that retail is a people business. We can&#8217;t lose all humanity, even when discussions of AI and robotics are everywhere.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/clark.com\/shopping-retail\/major-retailers-closing-2018\/\">Retail closing news for 2018<\/a>. However there are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopify.com\/partners\/blog\/ecommerce-trends-2018\">reports on business shifting too, to eCommerce (this is not a new prediction)<\/a>, to merging and to finding ways to work in the industry in a more efficient manner, for which we&#8217;ve helped many clients.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildive.com\/news\/7-trends-that-will-disrupt-and-define-retail-in-2018\/514064\/\">Trends that will &#8220;disrupt and define&#8221; 2018 retailing<\/a>.
