We&#8217;re based in Atlanta and we had some scattered disruptions in the city and many counties in Georgia closed schools any number of days. Schools closed because the power was out from one to about four days and trees blocked major roads. Our civil servants in Georgia, they worked very hard to get our city&#8217;s power restored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We&#8217;re still hoping for the best for those who had hurricane damage and destruction. <a href=\"http:\/\/crimsonandco.info\/blog\/supply-chain-and-logistics-recap-7\/\">Check out our list of organizations<\/a> you can support who support people getting their lives back together. You may sign up for a daily email if you like.<\/li>\n<li>A recent study by\u00a0The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) on the impact on supply chain from the hurricanes is released. No one will be surprised to learn people believe there will be a negative impact for three months and in some areas as much as six months.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/stevebanker\/2017\/09\/07\/ism-analyses-the-future-supply-chain-impacts-from-hurricane-harvey\/#51b2c564c592\"> Forbes broke it down into a short piece.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Hurricane impact on Florida is deep in many areas, <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2017\/09\/09\/news\/economy\/economic-impact-florida-hurricane-irma\/index.html\">as shared here last week in USA Today<\/a>.
