Check back in the coming weeks for educational information.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zebra Technologies Corporation&#8217;s study,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supplychain247.com\/paper\/2017_manufacturing_vision_study_quality_drives_a_smarter_plant_floor\/zebra_technologies\">Zebra\u2019s 2017 Manufacturing Vision Study<\/a>, following the upcoming trends of industrial manufacturing,\u00a0revealed manufacturers are adopting the IIoT (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentryo.net\/infographic-what-is-iiot\/\">infographic to easily explain IIoT<\/a>) to enhance visibility and improve quality. Competition and demand (both for consumers and for companies) for quality products, processed quickly make for the push for technology to be used at a greater pace. It is predicted<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supplychain247.com\/article\/zebra_study_reveals_one_half_of_manufacturers_globally_to_adopt_wearable_te\/news\"> that one-half of manufacturers will use wearable technology<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Interested in the shipping industry?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.supplychaindive.com\/news\/ocean-series-2017-shipping-consolidation-shippers\/448182\/\"> Here&#8217;s a series of articles that cover a wide scope of issues<\/a> about changes in the ocean cargo industry. Supply Chain Dive covers over capacity and the state of ocean rates to name just a couple.<\/li>\n<li>Logistics Management came out with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.logisticsmgmt.com\/article\/truckload_masters_of_the_long_haul\">Masters of the Long Haul and their 34th Annual Quest for Quality Awards for Truckload Carriers.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing growth is positive for<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scmr.com\/article\/manufacturing_growth_remains_positive_in_july_reports_ism\/news\"> July, says ISM, reported by Supply Chain Management Review \u00a0and Jeff Berman.\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;ISM Manufacturing Committee Chair Tim Fiore explaining in the report that the comments generally reflected expanding business conditions, with new orders, production, employment, backlog and exports all growing in July compared to June, as well as supplier deliveries slowing (improving) and inventories unchanged during the period.
