As you probably know by now, we are no longer The Progress Group (or TPG as we used to call ourselves sometimes). On May 15, we spread the word <a href=\"http:\/\/crimsonandco.info\/blog\/progress-group-crimson-co-combined\/\">through a press release here<\/a> and our global office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimsonandco.com\/news\/2017\/05\/progress-group-becomes-crimson-co-north-america\/\">did it as well, here<\/a>.\u00a0We were delighted to take the Crimson &amp; Co name and brand and so we&#8217;ve changed our website to Crimson &amp; Co North America (crimsonandco.info)\u00a0and you will note it features many components of the Crimson &amp; Co (crimsonandco.com), including <a href=\"http:\/\/crimsonandco.info\/category\/news\/\">global news from around the world.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re excited to be back on schedule with our supply chain and logistics recaps and our regular blog features and series. We have a few things lined up and are working on our editorial calendar right now.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Logistics Management sent out an email blast for a webinar <em>Women in Logistics &#8211; Breaking Gender Roles to Win the War for Talent\u00a0<\/em>on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2pm EST. Logistics Management&#8217;s 2017 salary survey is in and have built a webinar for the purposes of sharing the information, their <em>Women in Logistics<\/em> webinar will explore\u00a0&#8220;the vital role women play in the logistics management community continues to gain traction every year.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/event.on24.com\/eventRegistration\/EventLobbyServlet?target=reg20.jsp&amp;partnerref=em1&amp;eventid=1438504&amp;sessionid=1&amp;key=F304FDC4BA5E19ED3F16777E55FDB78C&amp;regTag=&amp;sourcepage=register\">Register here for the webinar<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Buzzfeed reports that Alphabet\u2019s autonomous car company Waymo is exploring <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeed.com\/priya\/googles-waymo-is-exploring-self-driving-trucks?utm_term=.yyrPkpp79#.ctx37PPbJ\">testing a self-driving\u00a0<\/a>trucks. How could that change things for us? A Waymo spokesperson told them, \u201cSelf-driving technology can transport people and things much more safely than we do today and reduce the thousands of trucking-related deaths each year. We\u2019re taking our eight years of experience in building self-driving hardware and software and conducting a technical exploration into how our technology can integrate into a truck.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scdigest.com\/ASSETS\/NEWSVIEWS\/17-05-26-2.php?cid=12480\">Supply Chain by The Numbers from Supply Chain Digest<\/a>\u00a0provides numbers on a regular basis &#8211; a quick snapshot of just a few number. This link shares information on\u00a0oil prices, HP&#8217;s Instant Ink Program and more.<\/li>\n<li>What does the supply chain industry look like from a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.logisticsmgmt.com\/article\/the_evolution_of_the_digital_supply_chain\">digital perspective? Logistics Management<\/a>\u00a0gives details on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhi.org\">MHI<\/a> Annual Industry Report that &#8220;80% of respondent believe that the digital supply chain will be the predominate model within the next five years &#8212; with just 16% saying it&#8217;s happening today.
