After two decades, Richard Powell has handed over the leadership of the UK\u00a0business to Ben Wright. In recent years, Richard has led the introduction of the strategy and transformation practice area within the UK business; he will now focus on this full time so that Argon & Co can continue to respond to the significant client growth in the area brought about by digitalisation, global supply chain challenges, new resource models and rapidly changing local market behaviours and expectations.<\/p>\n
Richard Powell, a founding partner of the business, said, “After an incredible 20-year journey as the co-founder and Managing Partner of Argon & Co in the UK, I am delighted to announce this change in leadership. The company has grown to a prominent position in the industry, trebling in size over the last five years with a constant focus on quality, culture and hiring and developing amazing people. Now, as we live in an environment of constant change, it’s the perfect time for me to focus on our fast-growing operations strategy and transformation area, working with our wonderful clients as they seek to operationalise their business strategies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Richard added, “Ben has been an integral part of the Argon & Co family and the recent dramatic growth. His experience, both within our organisation and in his previous roles, makes him the perfect person to lead the UK business into the next phase of its development and to continued success.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ben has been with the business for over four years, having previously held senior management positions in Total Logistics and latterly Accenture\u2019s Supply Chain practice. He brings with him a wealth of business management and people leadership experience, good relations across the Argon & Co global community and strong links into a number of key client accounts.<\/p>\n
Ben Wright, the new Managing Partner, said, \u201cI’m honoured and excited to step into the role of Managing Partner of Argon & Co UK, continuing the legacy that Richard and the team have built.
